A large splitting axle with a medium sharp, rounded edge that provides the weight and force needed to split larger pieces of wood without jamming. Great for hardwoods such as beech, oak and ash. This high quality axe is made from forged steel that is hardened to stay sharp for longer, but also easy to re-sharpen. The ash handle provides a comfortable grip and the top edge is painted orange for better visibility. Comes complete with a durable reinforced textile cover. Designed and manufactured in Germany.
